The Kianto exhibition located in the main library presents the extensive production and colorful life stages of highly considered author Ilmari Kianto with pictures, texts, objects and multimedia presentations. A review of Kianto's almost 96-year life is also a review of the stages of modernizing Finnish society.

Books written by Ilmari Kianto and books written about him can be found in the library next to the miniature model of Turjanlinna. Books can be borrowed as usual. The Kianto exhibition is open when the staff is present. Some of the Kianto material is on display outside the actual exhibition space also during self-service hours.
