Oilola is an old inn that was burned during the World War II in 1944. The present building is from the following year.

Oilola handicrafts showroom is a wellknown and pleasant destination for travellers. The showroom is famous for its high quality products, affordable prices and excellent customer service. The place is also very cosy and pleasant.

People of Suomussalmi have always been skillful craftsmen, a tradition continuosly cherished. Oilola showroom displays works of more than 500 local craftsmen.

A comprehensive range of traditional products is available as well as new innovations.

Oilola handicrafts showroom is maintained by the municipality of Suomussalmi.

June - August:

Every day 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
September:
Every day 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Open on request also outside the opening hours.
